Scientific Research on Priority Areas, Japan
Scientific Research on Priority Areas on 'Novel Functions of Molecular Conductors under Extreme Conditions' has started in Autumn, 2003. This is a 5-year research project supported by Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT), Japan. It is aimed to clarify the conduction mechanisms in molecular conductors and to create novel materials with useful functions, in collaboration between physics and chemistry. Next year is the middle year of this project, so that we have decided to organize an international symposium on molecular conductors and related subjects. This symposium will be open for all researchers interested in this field. We are planning to invite as many active researchers as possible, including about 25 invited speakers from abroad. Please feel free to contact us for more information. |
