The aim of this course is to develop the students'confidence and fluency in oral communication starting with talking about themselves then advancing to discussing social issues. The first term will focus on issues in relation to lifestyles, family, and relationships (included in the first half of the textbook) while the second term will focus on issues in relation to relationships, life and death, and society (included in the second half of the textbook). The content of the course, however, will vary depending on the level and interests of the students.
