授業の目的・内容

In the first semester, students learn and use English to create, plan,and rehearse short group drama performances.
In the second semester, students read short mime plays, then rehearse and perform them. In addition there are discussions about the social issues and cultural themes of the plays. Students will also learn strategies to improve general speaking fluency.

授業方法

The teaching method is based on practical speaking, language awareness, acting and confidence building activities in small groups. No drama or acting experience is necessary.

成績評価の方法

第1学期(学期末試験)、第2学期(学年末試験)
attendance and participation 60%, tests (speaking) 40%

No textbook, all materials will be supplied.

参考文献

Students need to bring dictionaries. Japanese to English and English to Japanese.

After the first week, students need to wear shoes and clothes that are suitable for movement.
