The aim of this course is to develop listening and speaking ability through the medium of rock and pop music. Each unit deals with a particular sound change which often occurs in real-life daily conversations. Students are first given a systematic explanation of these sounds, followed by listening practices which provide an opportunity to hear the sound as it appears in normal conversation. Although this is mainly a listening/speaking course, students will also practice reading and writing skills.
