授業の目的・内容

The aim of the course is to further develop skills and confidence to communicate in English. The course will include a variety of interesting and innovative topics that encourage students to express their ideas and opinions. In class, the focus will be on listening and speaking practice, encouraging students to participate actively in meaningful dialogs through pair work and group activities. Written homework assignments will further enhance communicative skills and provide opportunity for individual research on topics of interest.

授業方法

Many exercises call for pair and group work, so that students can interact with and learn from each other. Projects and other out-of-class work encourage students' independence.

成績評価の方法

Students will be evaluated on attendance (20%), homework/projects (30%) and tests (50%)
