―現社会事象を経済の視点から見る―

社会は日に日に国際化の度合を強め、それに応じて経済もまた一段とグローバル化の様相を深めている。文系・理系の区別を問わず、また専攻領域のいかんに拘らず、経済学の基本知識を身に付け、世界経済の仕組みを理解する事が国際時代に生きる現代人すべてに求められているといっても過言ではない。本書を読む事によって周囲の社会事象を経済の視点から考える事を目標とする。また授業時間の一部を割いて、TOEIC受験に備える為のテストを行なう。

各々のunitには２種類の練習問題が備えられている。練習問題を解くことによってessayの内容を把握し、更に語彙を豊富にする事を目指す。

第１学期（学期末試験）、第２学期（学年末試験）
第１学期・第２学期の期末テストの成績を主とし、授業時での予習発表の内容、授業への取り組み姿勢、出席状況を加味し、総合的に判断して評価する。TOEIC testの成績は評価の対象としない。
