This course provides the opportunity for students to develop communication skills and world-mindedness. In our First Term classes we shall focus on activating speaking and listening skills through personal topics. The focus of the Second Term changes to critical-thinking skills through reading, writing and listening activities in classes that will be less personal and more content-based.

This is a communication class, not a lecture. Students are expected to interact with each other in pair and group-work activities.

Evaluation is continuous; it is based on attendance, participation, presentations, snap-quizzes and assignments.
