● アカデミック・ライティング演習（中級Ⅱ）Ｄ

This course is intended to provide students with the skills required to write first-class essays in English. In this class, students apply the skills taught in Introductory Academic English to produce clearer, better arguments. Students are encouraged to keep journals, but the main activity of this class is writing formal essays. There are no term tests.
We will work closely with the course text – Writing Academic English, 4th Edition, by Alice Oshima and Anne Hogue. The text is excellent. However, the course text features long passages of English. Students are, therefore, strongly encouraged to purchase the course text early. Students should then preview all reading passages as quickly as possible. Please be aware that we do not work through the course text sequentially.
