● アカデミック・ライティング演習（上級Ⅱ）Ａ

This will be a content-based class, focusing mainly on writing but utilizing all four skills. In the second term, we will look at issues relating to Language, Communication and Identity. You will be given homework requiring you to read and prepare for the class. We will concentrate on reading comprehension, improving writing proficiency, and writing and presenting opinions on the topics.

In class, we will go through the assigned reading. We will carry out a comprehension check. You will present written statements For, Against or Undecided on a proposition given out the week before. Group discussion and longer writing will take place in class. Academic writing and various other genres will be introduced. The assigned reading in the second term will be longer and more challenging than in the first term.

Assessment will be by submission of writing in class and final projects at the end of term.

「アカデミック・ライティング演習（上級）Ⅱ」は、英語英米文化学科によってクラス指定が行われる。この教科の履修を希望する学生は、３月23日（金）から４月５日（木）までの申請期間内に履修希望アンケートに回答し、仮登録の手続きを取らなければならない。手続きは英語英米文化学科事務室、及び３、４年生ガイダンスにて行うことができる。仮登録を申請せずに履修登録を行っても履修が認められないので注意すること。
