授業の目的・内容

The aim of the course is to develop skills and confidence to communicate in English at the intermediate level. The course will include a variety of interesting and innovative topics that encourage students to express their ideas and opinions. In class, the focus will be on listening and speaking practice, encouraging students to participate actively in meaningful dialogs through pair work and group activities. Written homework assignments will further enhance communicative skills and provide opportunity for individual research on topics of interest.

Many exercises call for pair and group work, so that students can interact with and learn from each other. Projects and other out-of-class work encourage students' independence.
