授業の目的・内容

This course is designed for students who wish to improve their communication skills and bolster their confidence in speaking English. By participating in a variety of activities, students will study different expressions appropriate for situations which call for interaction in English. The textbook Breakthrough Plus, Level 3 will be used. It will be supplemented with exercises provided by the instructor.

The schedule will follow the contents of the textbook but may be adjusted according to the level of the students and amount of time needed to complete a chapter. Supplementary exercises will also be provided and quizzes will be given periodically on vocabulary and content.

Active participation in small groups will be expected by the class members in order to complete the assigned activities.
