In this course, students are to read different aspects in life from the psychological point of view. Their comprehension of the matter may depend on thier background knowledge and and 'common sense' in general. We may also have occasional DVD/in-class writing sessions along with the topics.

Classroom activities include: lectures and note-taking in English, pair-work, discussion, and vocabulary building. Extensive reading in English of the students' own choice is highly recommended. The graded readers are kept in the lounge on the 6th floor of the Central Building.

- 第２学期（学年末試験）：40％
- レポート：10％
- 平常点（出席、クラス参加、グループ作業の成果等）：10％
- More than 2/3 of the class attendance in each term is required to secure the seat to write the final examination.
