This course is designed to help students learn how to write several types of paragraphs using a step-by-step approach. In the second term, students will learn to express their opinions on current issues in written form by providing sufficient supporting information. Writing an outline, timed-writing exercises on specific topics & journal-writing will continue.

Class begins with a timed-writing exercise, therefore students should arrive on time. Homework will be checked. Late homework will not be accepted.

「アカデミック・ライティング演習（初級）Ⅱ」は、英語英米文化学科によってクラス指定が行われる。新入生ガイダンスに必ず出席し、指示に従うこと。また、２年生以上の再履修者は英語英米文化学科事務室に相談すること。
