Students will learn the patterns of paragraphs and acquire critical thinking skills through many kinds of passages and articles. First, they check their vocabulary skills to read through the chosen passage by taking an oral quiz. Then they read the passage answering simple comprehension questions given by the instructor in English. Overall comprehension check will be done in the end. Linguistic skills are reviewed whenever necessary.

Students are to acquire critical thinking skills by reading many types of reading materials, reviewing their linguistic knowledge.
