授業概要

This class will be conducted ONLY in English. The course will provide an insight into various aspects of political and historical issues through popular music. Your level of English is not a big issue - what truly matters is how you use your tools, in other words, what you know. You will not be required to translate the text, but to explain what it says (i.e. vocabulary) in your own words. You will be evaluated mostly through class participation. Preparation and participation are a MUST - failing to meet such demands will lead to a negative assessment. Thus, thorough preparation will be required. Regular vocabulary quizzes will be held to evaluate your readiness. Your willingness to learn and to take part in class is what truly counts.
