This course is intended to enhance the performance of intermediate students already familiar with the TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test). Students will activate their Arts and Literature vocabulary, discuss various cultural and academic concepts, and actively partake in discussions.
　
TOEFL Target Score 70-90

Students investing fully in this course will be able to:
Apply the core vocabulary in Writing and Speaking
Develop and Define the core vocabulary
Summarize and Paraphrase texts on Language and Culture
Present their work in spoken or written form using the e-learning system
Describe the format of the TOEFL examination
Interpret visual and textual sources related to art and culture

Lecture and e-learning components

Prepare the vocabulary exercises before coming to class (approx. 45 minutes)

平常点（出席、クラス参加、グループ作業の成果等）：50％

All vocabulary and examination materials will be provided by the lecturer.

履修者数制限あり。（40名）

「異文化留学特別演習」は、英語英米文化学科によってクラス編成が行われる。この教科の履修を希望する学生は、３月24日（火）から４月６日（月）までの申請期間内に履修希望アンケートに回答し、仮登録の手続きを取らなければならない。手続きは指定された期間内に、英語英米文化学科事務室、及び各学年ガイダンスで取ることができる。仮登録を申請せずに履修登録を行っても履修が認められないので注意すること。
