授業概要

Students in this class are to learn and acquire reading skills for business English. Articles and passages to be
read are taken from various sources such as the New York Times and Reuters. Students memorize necessary
words first, which are checked in the beginning of each class orally as a vocabulary quiz. Then while reading an
article, linguistic explanations are given. Finally, the article is summarised by the students.

While learning and acquiring reading skills for business English, students are expected to be keen observers of
social, political and economic scenes.

授業方法
