授業方法

Instructions are given in English. Intonation and pronunciation are modeled and monitored as are differences in cultural behaviors related to communicating in English. Listening passages will be used extensively and students will be encouraged to listen multiple times in order to acclimate themselves to listening to English and progressively improve listening comprehension. The instructor will insist that students engage in active English communication activities with the aim of constant improvement and will encourage students to shift away from fear of making mistakes to a positive attitude of trying once, trying again, and trying once again, each time moving forward towards a better command of spoken English.
