授業概要

This course will center on a variety of advanced conversation activities. Students will be asked to share opinions, seek clarification and ask meaningful questions. We will also review key points in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

到達目標

Students will learn to express their own views and ask the opinions of others. They will also improve their capacity for understanding the speech of native speakers from various English speaking countries. Their vocabularies will be expanded and they will also learn to figure out word meanings from context. They will enhance their ability to express themselves in written English. Students will become more comfortable using English in a variety of settings.

授業方法

Active class participation is required. Students should always bring a dictionary and notebook as well as the text.

準備学習

Read set passages from the textbook and look up any words not yet understood (approx.30 mins.). Complete relevant exercises from the textbook before class, even if they did not attend the previous class (approx. 30 mins.).
