The purpose　of　this　course　is　to　expand　students’　vocabulary　and　to　improve　their　speaking　and　listening　skills.

The objective for this course is for students to learn a wide range of vocabulary and language patterns which will help them communicate actively in a wide variety of situations. Students will improve their conversation, discussion and presentation skills.

In this course students will engage in group and whole class discussions in which they will be able to express themselves freely. There will also be role play activities to consolidate the language patterns they have studied.

Review of material covered in textbook and complete relevant exercises (approx. 30 mins.).

第１学期（学期末試験）：20％（The exam will be in the form of an end of term speaking test）

第２学期（学年末試験）：20％（The exam will be in the form of an end of term group presentation）

小テスト：20％（4 short vocabulary tests throughout the year）

平常点（クラス参加、グループ作業の成果等）：40％（Students will be expected to actively participate in each class.）
