授業概要

この授業では、世界と日本で起こっている話題についての英文を読んで、英語の読解力の向上はもちろんだが、
日本と世界への興味を広げてもらいたい。知的興味と語学力が結びつくと英語を読む楽しみが味わえる。
　内容は特定の分野に固まらず、現在関心が高まっている多方面から採用されています。

到達目標

高校までに学んだ英語の語彙、文法に基づく読解力をさらに発展させて、目的に応じた効率的なリーディングストラテジーが身に着けることができる。未知語がいくつかあっても辞書をできるだけ使わないで概要が掴めるようになる。

授業方法

毎回１Chapter進みます。ヒントになる短いビデオや文章、話しを聞いた後、Vocabularyの意味を確認した後、本文（Reading)のCDを聴き、その後、予め指定されていたグループによる内容の説明と続き、TRUE/FALSE で内容理解を確認し、最後に、COMPREHENSION を小テストかQ and A の形でおこなう。
