授業方法

All the lessons will be conducted in English. Students will work in pairs or in small groups and will be required to participate actively in the lessons. The teacher will give as much individual attention to each student as possible, but the students will be expected to help and support each other in the learning process. A willingness to communicate in English is important, and there is no need for students to practise their Japanese in class time.

準備学習

Students will be expected to spend up to 30 minutes a week reviewing or preparing for the class. Depending on the topic being studied, students may be asked, for example, to check new vocabulary or to complete worksheets. They will also need to practise their end of semester skits outside class time.

成績評価の方法

第1学期(学期末試験):20%
第2学期(学年末試験):20%
中間テスト:20%
平常点(クラス参加、グループ作業の成果等):10%
Skits:30%(Students will be assessed on their performance in a skit at the end of each semester.)
A positive approach will ensure success in this course.
