授業概要

This course will allow students to be able to use the communication patterns to express ideas. They will be able to talk about a wide range of topics with each other. The student will expand their knowledge of many fields of study.

到達目標

The student will gain vocabulary related to various fields of life. They will acquire techniques necessary for interaction with others. They will be able to understand a particular topic and apply that knowledge for their own creative discussion.

授業方法

The instructor will explain the use of the vocabulary and an overview of each topic including cultural notes to allow understanding in a wide point of view.
Students will be encouraged to express their ideas and to tell about the topic from their own background information and experiences.

準備学習

Students need to prepare by studying the vocabulary and answer the questions in the reading passage. Activities are to be completed independently. They are to prepare their own information and knowledge about the topic and be ready to participate and interact with other students.

成績評価の方法

レポート:35%(Preparation of topic information)
小テスト:25%(Unit vocabulary and comprehension)
Interaction, verbal production:40%(Speaking in class)
Attitude and natural expression is most important.
