Obwohl während des Zweiten Weltkriegs z.B. jüdische Flüchtlinge aus Europa auch nach Japan kamen, stellt Japan immer noch ein Desiderat der Exilforschung dar. Die Situation dieser Emigration in Japan und Ostasien überhaupt soll hier erforscht werden.

Although during the Second World War some refugees, for example Jewish refugees, came from Europe to Japan, there is still a research gap about Japan in the area of Exile Studies. The situation of this emigration in Japan and East Asia is the research topic here.
