My courses are in the area of "Critical studies on Manga and Animation." My interdisciplinary interest is about manga, animation, and related areas. Having been involved in the creative process as a manga editor, I am interested in the origins of works and cultural issues. But more than that, I have focused my efforts on historical research. We would like to look at media such as manga and animation as history, not only from a Japanese, but also from a global perspective, and on this basis, we would like to touch contemporary issues once again.
