About Akiyama Group

　　　We developed chiral phosphoric acid, derived from (R)-BINOL, as chiral Brønsted acid in 2004. We continue developing enantioselective reactions employing chiral phosphoric acid.

January, 20th, 2026, Ms. Ohahi's paper has been published in Eur. J. Org. Chem.
January, 10th, 2026, Mr. Omar ARTO SUAREZ, who is a graduate student of Prof. Pablo Barrio's group in the University of Oviedo, joined our group. He will have short time stay in our group.
